World Congress on Positive Psychology
Every other year, IPPA hosts a global conference of positive psychology researchers and practitioners. The 1st and 2nd World Congresses on Positive Psychology were held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. The 3rd World Congress took place June 27-30, 2013, in Los Angeles, California. Invited speakers included Roy Baumeister, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Barbara Fredrickson, Martin Seligman, and many others. Click here for details. Our next World Congress on Positive Psychology will take place in 2015 (date and location to be announced).
World Congress on Positive Psychology
Positive Psychology Leader Series
The Positive Psychology Leader Series offers IPPA members an opportunity to learn from the leading scholars and practitioners in the field.  Each hour-long webinar offers an introduction to the presenter's work, the latest updates from the lab or field, and time for questions from the online audience.  These calls are recorded and posted to our member website for later viewing. Recent speakers have included Shane Lopez, Richard Davidson, Adam Grant, Barbara Fredrickson, and Sonja Lyubomirsky (right). Click here for details.
IPPA Newsletter
The IPPA Newsletter is published four times per year with a combination of updates about the association, articles about leading research and practice, and interviews with leaders in the field. Most issues feature a topical theme, with recent issues devoted to positive psychology and education, positive psychology and clinical practice, and basic research in positive psychology. Our most recent issue shined a spotlight on health and positive psychology. Contributors include Antonella Delle Fave (right), George Vaillant, Sarah Pressman, and Libby Benson & Margaret Kern. You can read that issue here. Upcoming topics include reports from the 3rd World Congress, organizations, and coaching.
