By joining the International Positive Psychology Association, you are investing in the future of our field. You will become part of a vibrant community of scholars and practitioners working to deliver our three-part mission:

Members
IPPA members are researchers and/or practitioners dedicated to the scientific study and evidence-based, ethical application of positive psychology and related fields.

2-Year Member: $160 (Join)
1-Year Member: $90 (Join)

 

 

 

Students
Qualifying students must be currently enrolled full-time, in good standing, in an accredited, degree-granting academic program studying positive psychology or a related discipline. Student members must provide verification of student status (i.e. a copy of a current student ID card or transcript) within 14 days of joining.

2-Year Student: $60 (Join)

Membership Policies

Anniversary Memberships

All IPPA memberships run for one or two calendar years, depending on the membership type. First-time IPPA memberships will begin on the date of purchase. All membership renewals will extend for one or two calendar years from the anniversary date of your first membership purchase.

Developing Country Discount

Residents of developing countries are eligible for a 50% discount on any IPPA membership category. To qualify, individuals must have a primary address in a country recognized as developing by The World Bank. The countries identified as developing by region on that World Bank page are eligible for the discount. To receive the discount, please select the membership of your choice and enter the discount code DC-DEV COUNTRY (case-sensitive) when prompted during the checkout process.

Discounts

IPPA Members who are active at the time of the World Congress will be eligible for discounted registration rates and Students receive even steeper discounts. We also aim to secure meaningful affiliate relationships with organizations that contribute to the study and practical application of positive psychology. We are pleased to announce that we have forged one such affiliation with The Greater Good Science Center based at the University of California, Berkeley. The Greater Good Science Center studies the psychology, sociology, and neuroscience of well-being, which aligns with IPPA’s mission. Additionally, current IPPA Members and Students can subscribe to the print edition of the Journal of Positive Psychology for a discounted rate.
