From July 17-22, 2017, Purdue University will host the 17th International Summer School and Symposium on Humour and Laughter: Theory, Research and Applications. This is the first time that the Summer School will be held in the United States.

Dr. Willibald Ruch, a leader in the study of humor, is the main instructor for the course. It is intended for both early career and established researchers, as well as those interested in practical applications of humor research.
