The following volunteer job opportunities are available immediately with the editorial team of IPPA’s Positive Health and Wellness Division publication, Chronicle of Advances in Positive Health and Well-being.

Research Reviewers invited. Reviews are needed of submitted research articles, abstracts, and extended abstracts (published research articles). Volunteer research reviewers will work in coordination under the Research Editor. Based upon areas of expertise, reviewers will evaluate submission acceptability using a rating scale. Reviewers will be asked to review approximately two to three submissions within a three week turn-around time. Interested individuals with experience publishing in peer–reviewed journals and doctoral level training in research design and statics (familiarity with APA format a plus), please contact healthdiv@ippanetwork.org .

Commentaries Reviewers: Reviews are needed of submitted commentaries on emerging topics of interest to positive psychology, or of commentaries on articles already published in the positive psychology literature. Volunteer commentaries reviewers will work in coordination with team members under the Commentaries Editor. Based upon a self-stated competency, reviewers will judge each submission’s acceptability using a rating scale developed for the newsletter. Given our experience so far, expected reviews will be for no more than two or three submissions for each reviewer, first screened by the Commentaries Editor. Each reviewer is expected to commit to a two-week turn-around time for each submission that they review. The time span for this second edition reviewing will last into the first part of 2019. Interested individuals should have experience and awareness of the positive psychology general literature and curiosity about what might be new or intriguing in the field. Clinical Practitioners and Training Reviewers: Reviews are needed of submitted clinical practitioner and training articles. Volunteer clinical practitioner and training reviewers will work in coordination with team members under the Clinical P & T Editor. Based upon a self- stated competency, reviewers will judge each submission’s acceptability using a rating scale developed for the newsletter. Given our experience so far, expected reviews will be for no more than two or three submissions for each reviewer, first screened by the Clinical P & T Editor. Each reviewer is expected to commit to a two-week turn-around time for each submission that they review. The time span for this second edition reviewing will last into the first part of 2019. Interested individuals must have clinical and/or practitioner experience (hands-on patient or client experience helpful, for example, MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs, and Nurses invited) relevant to positive psychology. Having publishing in peer–reviewed journals using APA publication format is a plus. Announcements, Funding, and Meetings Editor and Researchers: Application is invited for the position of Editor and for Researchers of relevant announcements, funding sources, and member information to be posted for the division membership. Volunteer announcements and meetings researchers will work in coordination with team members under the direction of the AF & M Editor (to be filled) to find information relevant and useful to the division membership, to be posted. The AF & M Editor will work in contact with IPPA staff for pertinent positive psychology information, and researchers will seek funding sources from national and local federal and private sources.
