A message from our Presidents

pic1Our team of Presidents really love to support IPPA’s student division members. We have created a mission and vision which we hope reflects this and enable us to support you, our members in the best way possible. We each approached this section of the newsletter with openness and gratitude for the opportunity to really connect with this message and hope that you find it as inspiring as we do. Because we really mean it, so please do explore this and the content on the SIPPA website page.

“IPPA is the student-focused division of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). Our mission is to create a community for students of positive psychology by facilitating networking, collaboration and mentorship. We focus on meeting these priorities by: promoting and developing educational opportunities; a supportive atmosphere for connecting students to other students, practitioners and researchers interested in positive psychology.”

The newsletter is our connection with you.

We rely on your views, participation and support to make SIPPA the space you want it to be.

SIPPA provides a space for communication, discussion and support among all members of IPPA’s student division and aims to fulfil the main objectives of IPPA;

  • To promote the science of positive psychology and its research-based applications.
  • To facilitate collaboration among researchers, teachers, students and practitioners of positive psychology around the world and across academic disciplines.
  • To share the findings of positive psychology with the broadest possible audience.

Over the next few months you will be invited to engage with us directly, through social media, at events, through contributions for future newsletters and in return, we help you to get your message across to both IPPA and a large and diverse audience.

We also want to make sure we are supporting you in the best possible way, so our main message is simply that you engage with us.
