IPPA’s Work and Organizations Division is seeking a Copy Editor to join the Editorial Board of its ground-breaking, bi-annual publication, Positive Work and Organizations: Research and Practice.

Positive Work and Organizations: Research and Practice (PWORP), is aimed at creating a space for our member scholars and practitioners around the world to share knowledge, experience, and insights on a common platform, and develop opportunities for networking and growth.

The PWORP publishes empirical and conceptual scholarship as well as literature reviews, philosophical commentaries, and evidence-based thought-provoking discussions of issues on the ground.

Qualifications: We are seeking applicants who are members of the division (or will be at the time of application) and who have previous experience authoring and reviewing scholarly publications. Previous editorial experience for a newsletter is desirable but not required. Applicants must speak fluent English, possess strong writing skills, have mastery of APA style guide, be detail-oriented, and have a good working knowledge of positive psychology in workplace settings.

Time commitment: Expected time commitment for the Copy Editor role varies, but is likely to require 3-5 hours a week for two months around publication dates. PWORP publishes in January and July.
